Upload guide: what photo works best

The photo that works best is a close front-facing photo with your face large in the frame, mouth open and tongue out.

• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Pose and framing: Use a close front-facing view, with your face large in the frame and looking at the camera.
• Eyes: Keep your eyes locked on the camera, with no sunglasses and no hair across your eyes.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth open with your tongue out, and nothing covering your lips.
• Light and sharpness: Pick a sharp, recent, high-resolution image with even, bright light on your face. Avoid dark rooms, motion blur, screenshots with bars and buttons, pictures of a screen, and filters that change the shape of your face.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Avoid: back views, distant full-body shots, mouths closed or covered, dark or blurry photos.
